John, I was reading the piece in WSJ today and remembered your giving VISTA a rather low approval rating when it was first introduced. Guess you were right! We have a fairly new computer with VISTA and it is not as good as the old XP on an old machine.
Who upgrades thier OS without backing up their personal files anyway? Sounds like a recipe for disaster. Installing windows has never been that tough... Brian

Can't wait for 7 to be available to students (for free). That's the only reason I ever upgraded to Vista
