BTW - in Istanbul this morning, so check the news for riots in Turkey today/tomorrow.
The data doesn't quite support the "we feed the world" mantra does it.
ReplyDeleteSeems to me that what feeds the world isn't gross output but what is left over and exported after you have fed yourself.
