AT&T is frustrating my ISP guy by missing appointments for a new high-bandwidth "pipe" like...well, a cable guy. Meanwhile, I can't get iCloud to clear up (heh).
- The farm boom isn't doing much for the rest of our counties
- Farmers didn't just suffer through the Great Depression - one economist thinks they caused it. (I respectfully disagree with his analysis)
- The looming Shrubbery Crisis
- Finance isn't about allocating capital anymore.
- Another biotech promise seems in doubt
- Nice guys do actually finish last
but look what the oil boom has done for incomes in western ND!

I suspect Amity Shlaes is closer than Stiglitz, in the book 'The Forgotten Man'
ReplyDeleteThe oil/gas boom is just starting up again in se WY, ne CO, and panhandle of NE...and it is raising incomes, on and off farm
