One because explaining it to myriad disinterested share-crop farmowners presented a formidable task, another because it just became too frustrating for his large operation, and so on.
All of my farms are straight cash rent (save one), so I skipped that part, but I have also heard producers are reluctantly moving to vanilla cash rents to solve the problem.
Is this a peculiarity of my part of the world?
