The Good Book in good plastic...

The Lego Bible or Brick Testament.

 Exodus 34:27
Yahweh then said to Moses, 'Put these words in writing...'

Matthew 26:20
When it was evening, he took his place at the table with the twelve.

[Seriously, this is a good website to share Bible stories with children.]

Looks like a great children's resource. One just needs to do a little previewing before showing specific sections to a child. Watch the labels such as "N", "S", and "V" with each story.

For example, I'm not too sure I'd want to show my 3 y.o. granddaughter the section of the Epistles entitled "Instructions on Marriage."

I suppose I'm too old (stodgy, uptight, your_word_here) to be that enlightened.

John,

I've read thru many of his illustrations and the prevailing attitude seems to be cynical mockery. Ding a little research I've found that the creator of these things is an avowed atheist. It could be touted as a quest for the truth but it strikes me as jests from a disenfranchised son of an Episcopalian pastor who [the son] doesn't grasp the the context of scripture nor understand how God relates to man in the Old Testament or the New Testament. I can honestly relate with some of the isssues that he brings out, as in I've questioned many of the same things myself. But I guess my quest has been one for understanding, as opposed to using my insecurities in God to relate to other insecure and cynical people and then turn it into a profit center. Just my $.02.
