At least we're dropping in  the ranks...

Farming (by one metric*, anyway) is now the 5th most dangerous occupation. Note the explanation though:
Farming may sound tame, but working with heavy machinery and harmful chemicals makes this job risky. 
Really?  Are we dying from chemicals?  Another strange thing is the calculated rate for farmers implies there are 742,000 of us.  Where did that number come from?
