What's the rush?...

We've decided to savor this wonderful harvest and set aside our anxiety about finishing.  With about 130 soggy acres to combine (and dry) we're hoping for some temps in the teens to help out.

(But no snow/sleet/freezing rain)

Posting is hard because of the Cargill schedule and my brain isn't working well, so I'm concentrating on just keeping up with TP and FJ columns, USFR, and speaking - since they generate income.

It's not as bad as the pledge breaks now roiling the PBS schedule, anyway.

Is it just me or is PBS fund raising nonstop anymore. I guess they didn't get any TARP funds

In northern Wisconsin we often have to wait for frost to harvest corn and some years soybeans. This year many are waiting for the corn to dry down in the fields to within the range where we can even begin to dry it in our dryers.
